I tried to make pcomm last night, and everything seemed to go OK except for a few warnings: expand.c, line 134 warning: illegal pointer combination, op = expand.c, line 135 warning: illegal pointer combination, op = expand.c, line 136 warning: illegal pointer combination, op = nshell.c, line 50 warning: illegal pointer combination, op = nshell.c, line 51 warning: illegal pointer combination, op = script.c, line 106 warning: illegal pointer combination, op = script.c, line 107 warning: illegal pointer combination, op = x_extrnl.c, line 85 warning: illegal pointer combination, op = x_extrnl.c, line 86 warning: illegal pointer combination, op = I didn't have time to investigate these, but it didn't seem worth the trouble at the time. However, the problem that brought things to a halt was, when starting pcomm, it says "can't find pcomm.param" or something like that. The Doc says that pcomm.param is a necessary support file, but that's all I could find out about it. I created an empty pcomm.param, and it says "missing token at beginning of pcomm.param". I also tried putting some values in there, with the same result. What goes in this file? Is there supposed to be a control character at the beginning? Why was this file not in the code that was posted? Please help - thanx. -Dave Mundhenk :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: EMAIL: ...!att!holin!doc | "I can't complain but | /^, VOICE: (201)-949-5308 | sometimes I still do"| / } _, , , __ #include <std.disclaimer> | - Joe Walsh | /_./ (_l |/ <~_ ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

They all have a capital P in the distribution, and need to be moved to the location given in config.h -- default /usr/local/bin, with a lower case initial. Wolf -- Wolf N.
