[comp.sys.att] /usr/lib/aliases

What is the equivalent of BSD's /usr/lib/aliases under SYS V?

Under stock SysVRelX (X < 4), there is no equivalent to
/usr/lib/aliases - aliasing is not directly supported, aside from the
capability to create random /usr/mail/some-name files containing
"Forward to some!one!else" lines.

However, if you install smail, then you get the use of
/usr/lib/aliases for free. Also, any of the networking packages you
can buy for SysV (e.g., Wollongong's) usually supply sendmail, which
makes /usr/lib/aliases available as well.

Does anyone know where I can snarf smail via anonymous ftp?
