A local site reports that he wants to upgrade his SVR3.0 (3B2/400) to 3.2 or 3.2 but either AT&T or his local VAR told him that it's possible that some of his utilities -- WWB, the C compiler, etc. -- may not work under the upgrade. Is this true? Also, he indicated that the upgrade price was "high". As he's a college, isn't he entitled to an educational price? Should he deal directly with the educational marketing people in Morristown, NJ, or what? On his behalf, thanks. They should work, but I'd reinstall them though after the upgrade. Some
versions of the C compiler will not use the new features.
WWB retunes the kernel and such hence needs to be re-installed if
there is a restore {full or partial} or a release upgrade.
