#N:hscfvax:13200005:000:812 hscfvax!kink Nov 13 00:56:00 1983 I just saw Liquid Sky. It was pretty good. The existential lesson was cleanly presented, though the science fiction was rather weak (particularly at the movie's end). The opening sequence was just too choppy, to the point of being funny. Why the people had to die in order to donate their beta-endorphin and/or met & leu enkephalins was not clear to me. It would seem that a long-standing parasite/host relationship would be preferable, for example to keep tapping a nympho's supply. Does anyone out their know about any special symbolisms or sub plots within the movie that I might have missed? And, does anyone have a concrete concept of the film's end? Does she get to go along, or is this just an outside view of the digestion process? Andy Papp (kink) decvax!genrad!wjh12!n44a!hscfvax!kink

Does she get to go along, or is this just an outside view of the digestion process? Margaret was the only one consumed by the aliens while she was using Heroine and thus the different look. All the others were consumed during "Oar-ga-zum" as the german scientist would say. I took the ending to be the aliens savoring every drop. -- - Speaker-To-Stuffed-Animals speaker@umcp-cs speaker.umcp-cs@CSnet-Relay
