When I worked at a local high school, we were informed that toner was a hazardous (sp?) product, when we were attending a meeting held by OSHA on "need to know". We were told that toner should be used in a well ventilate d area and that proper protective clothing (ie lab coat and gloves) should be worn. Our district had to install an exhaust fan in order to comply with the ventilation end of the deal. joan@albnycs.albany.edu
