[comp.sys.att] 3B2/400 Disk Drives

faatzd@turing.cs.rpi.edu (Don Faatz) (07/28/89)

Does anyone have or know where I can obtain info on the 86M drives
in a 3B2/400? I have two of these drives made by Magnetic Peripherals
Inc. (a CDC company). I'd like to know if they are ST506 or ESDI drives,
and the associated # of heads/cylinders, etc. Thanks

all 3b2/400 drives are ST506.
these ones have 9 heads / 925 cylinders (i think!)

btw, MPI is now called Imprimis, and will shortly be sold to seagate...
