A 72 MB hard drive in one of our 3B2/300 computers failed this morning. The machine was in service for at least three years, so the failure itself may be a normal occurence. However, AT&T has cheerfully offered to replace this drive for nearly $1600, which seems quite expensive when compared to the overall hard drive market. Is there anyone out there who has any experience with interfacing any non-AT&T hard drives with a 3B2 system, or perhaps a second source for a replacement drive? Thanks in advance.
