Help!....I've been given a project to write a 'C' language program in an AT&T 3B2/700 that is supposed to interact with an IBM 3090 via an AT&T 3270 Emulator+ SNA card. The application in the IBM is an IMS application sent to the 3B2 via VTAM. I've written such an application before without problems, but at that time we used a protocol converter attached to one of the tty ports...no problem there...now we've gotten fancy with a 3270 card. My problem is the API and HLLAPI calls that are essential to addressing the card. At best (and maybe this is just my age showing) the AT&T documentation for the SNA package is cryptic. It seems when I begin chasing down the procedure to open up an LU and begin to interact with it...I get started down some dead end. Everything makes sense to a point then ATT leaves you hanging. If anyone knows of a good book that deals with this software or has any experience with writing such code, I would REALLY appreciate hearing from them. James Cummings ....attctc!dlss2!james
