[comp.sys.att] Porting Sockets to System V

brankley@pdn.paradyne.com (Bob Brankley) (12/12/89)

I realize that I am a glutton for punishment, but I have decided to port
the Berkeley socket to a System V lookalike. Does anybody have any ideas
on this? Has anybody done this before? If you have I'd really like to
hear from you. Thanks ahead of time!

It's been done by (at least) SCO, Interactive and Excelan. It comes
with most TCP software packages, either standard or a low cost option.

  i.e. I'm not sure there's a need...
