<no blank> There were three movies that came out in 1983 that I really wanted to see. These were, in order of desire: 1. Tender Mercies 2. The Gray Fox 3. Educating Rita These movies were highly praised by critics and people in general. But I never got a chance to see them because they never came to my town of Aurora Ill. (if they did come they must have went real quick). I'm thankful that I'll probably get to see two of them now (TM and ER) since they have been nominated for Oscars. I consider 1983 to have been a dismal year for movies, at least in terms of quality. It's nice to see some movies which were considered good, but overlooked, at least getting a shot at some of the recognition they probably deserve. -- Is I is, or is I aint, John V. Smith
