A friend of mine recently told me that he had seen an article which claimed that someone out there was selling small configuration Unix-PCs ( 10 mb hard-disk, 0.5 mg internal ) for somewhere around $500.00. Does anyone out there know anything about this, if so please mail me directly with any pertinent information. Thanks, Tim Barba

Hello Netland. I'm interesting in hearing peoples comments and experiences with using the DOS-73 card that provides MSDOS emulation for the 3b1. The question I have are; 1) Just how good is the DOS emulation? Are there any constraints in the areas of memory, speed, usage. 2) What software have you people found that works and doesn't work? Please provide your comments to these questions, if sufficient interest is generated I will summarize the results. _____________________________________________________ Steve Hurrell {utai, utzoo}!sq!steve SoftQuad Inc. ihnp4!darwin!sq!steve 720 Spadina Ave., Ste. 200 Bus: 1(416)963-8337 Toronto, ON M5S2T9 CANADA Res: 1(416)947-9007

Hello: I know this question has been asked before a time or two, Perhaps I even asked it once and somehow I missed any replies. I need to upgrade my UNIX-PC expansion card to 256k chips. I am a hardware tech and could dope out the upgrade, but if someone else has already done it, why duplicate your efforts? If anyone had successfully accomplished this please E-mail. I seem to have lost my copy of the instructions posted to the net for upgrading the memory on the motherboard of a 7300 from 512K to 2M. I'm hoping someone could repost them or mail me a copy.
