In fact, the MIT Lecture Series Committee (for the uninformed, possibly the finest campus film group in the known universe) has previously (and will likely again this fall) shown "Casablanca" and "Play It Again, Sam" within seven days of each other. Not bad, since PIAS is my favorite Woody Allen movie (not his best, mind you, just my favorite), and Casablanca is, of course, the greatest movie ever made.
