[comp.sys.att] porting bsd software to 3b1?

I have heard a lot about the game "hunt", and would like to play it on my 3b1.
The code is very bsd, particularly in its use of sockets for IPC.  Has someone
out there already attempted something like this?  Did it work?  From another
angle, is there a similar game written for system V?
