A friend has a 6300+ with a monochrome monitor and is looking for an inexpensive upgrade to color. I understand that, in addition to the AT&T monitor, TAXAN makes one that is compatible. The 6300+ takes the same monitor as the 6300, an RGB with a DB-25 plug. If someone has a used color monitor they would like to sell, please reply by email, giving your phone number, and I'll pass it along. Mark Horton Mark.Horton@ATT.COM

In the April, 1990 "Computer Shopper" a company called Electrified Discounters was selling factory refurbished AT&T 318H color monitors for $279. This seemed like a good deal to me and I bought one for my 6300. They also include a VDC-400 controller which is useless for 6300 owners, but could (I think) be sold off with the old monochrome monitor. I have been pleased with mine, and have no other connection with Electrified Discounters.
