CONSULTING ASSIGNMENT AVAILABLE
LOCATION: Central New Jersey
DURATION: 3 months with possible extensions
RATE: Up to $40.00/hour
A large corporation in central New Jersey is in need of an
experienced UNIX* systems programmer. Job responsibilities
include analyzing dumps, troubleshooting installation problems,
fixing command and/or operating system bugs, and interfacing
with customers.
This position requires high levels of skill in the areas of
operating system troubleshooting, C programming, along with
oral communications. The ideal candidate will be able to
quickly resolve problems that range from relatively simple
installation and hardware questions to subtle operating
system bugs. Heavy customer contacts require a broad range
of skills in relating to other people.
Knowledge of the following operating systems and hardware
is required:
AT&T SVR3.1, AT&T SVR3.2, AT&T 3B2, AT&T 6386
