i just learned (well, late last night actually) that western digital has shut down their 3 micron fab line, and with it ended *ALL* production of the wd1010, wd2010, wd50c12, and assorted related chips. they've made an 'end-of-life' run, so there will (presumably) be a large stock of chips for a while... were/are there any second sources for these chips? should we start hoarding/scrounging? are we just sol? -- Andrew Hay +------------------------------------------------------+ Ragged Individualist | You just have _N_O idea!
