I've got an old AT&T PC 6300. The thing has two 360k 5" floppy drives, but I remember reading that the floppy controller in this machine could also do 720k floppies. Well, somone near here is selling 720k 3.5" floppy drives. I'd like to get a few and put them in my PC. What do I need to do to do this? Are the 3.5" drives electrically similar to the 5" drives? Do I need some strange cabling? Do I need a new controller? I'm also interested in what sort of 5" drive I could use at 720k. One 5" and one 3.5" might be better for me than two of either type. -- Doug DeJulio dd26@andrew.cmu.edu
