I have an interesting problem that has been bugging me for some time. When I mount a directory using NFS under Sys V/386 Rel 3.2.2 and then share that directory under StarLAN Ver 3.3, I can not write to it unless I set world permissions to write (not a thing I want to do). I have my uid and gid set so that the computer thinks I am the same person. If I log on to Unix, I can write and do anything else to that directory. Anyone else had this problem and gotten around it? Any help would be appreciated. advTHANKSance, Gary Bushey StarLAN Administrator opergb@newton.uvm.edu
