A few of the movies we can all look forward to in the coming months are:

May 11: Firestarter (the next in a never-ending series of Stephen King
        adaptations, but -hopefully- this one is worth waiting for)
May 23: Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom
June 1: Star Trek III- The Search for Spock  (the world awaits the news as
        to whether Leonard Nimoy can direct a movie)
June 8: Gremlins: A Stephen Spielberg production/ Joe Dante director
        Streets of Fire: Walter Hill's (48 Hrs.) next effort (with Diane Lane)
June 15: Ghostbusters: starring Dan Aykroyd and Bill Murray
June 22: Buckaroo Banzai: A kung-fu science fiction film with a country flavor?
         The Last Starfighter: more star-clones (you only wish it is the last)
July ??: The Philadelphia Experiment: sci-fi thriller
July 6 : Supergirl: Chris Reeve enters a telephone booth and emerges a ...
July 13: The Muppets Take Manhatten
July 29: Return of the Dead: George Romero's living dead-the final chapter
August 17: Sheena, Queen of the Jungle
           Cloak and Dagger
Fall : Creepshow 2: more video comics by King
       Conan II: more adventures in the "stoned age"
October: The NeverEnding Story
December 7: Dune: long awaited and probably over budget
            2010: Odyssey Two : ditto
Christmas: Starman
           Annie II (yes, you read right)
           Baby
           Ladyhawke

Most of these dates are extremely tentative. Some of these pictures may show
up on cable before your local theater has them, so beware!

A couple of release dates have been shifted:

July 6: Conan the Destroyer
July 13: Supergirl

An interesting thing about THE LAST STARFIGHTER is that there are 27 minutes
of realistic computer scene simulation produced at Digital Effects on their
Cray.
