[comp.sys.att] Value of an AT&T 7300

bobp@apollo.HP.COM (Bob Plencner) (05/21/91)

A friend of mine recently inherited an AT&T 7300 unix
machine, but wants to move to the DOS world. He wants to
sell or trade it, but we don't have any idea on what it's
worth.

          68010 (10mhz)
          1mb ram
          .5mb floppy
Hard disk (not sure what size)
          720x348 mono
          mouse
          external 300/1200 modem
          AT&T 475 printer
          System V (with manuals)

What should he ask for this machine if he wants to sell
it quickly ??

Please don't take this as a for sale add. We'll go to
the proper newsgroup once we figure out a reasonable
asking price.

Thanks for your help,
Bob

About $500-600, depending on hard disk size.

People will want to know that, plus the O/S
	version and any other software.

Why is your friend abandoning such a nice
system for msdos? It's sort of like giving
up a Saab for a Nova or something.
