[I just added several new BITNET readers to Info-Apple. The following request, therefore, is even more important. Please give it serious consideration. Brint] Folks, Because of severe congestion at the WISCVM mail relay, Info-Apple, which originates on the Arpa Internet, has been asked to find a Bitnet host willing to forward Info-Apple mail to all subscribing Bitnet sites. In this way, along with the one copy of each message that is sent from BRL to WISCVM, only one address, that of the "exploder," would be passed. This is expected to improve service to all of us. If you can provide reliable forwarding service for Info-Apple and are willing to maintain a list of Bitnet subscribers to Info-Apple, please drop me a note. At present, 51 of the 167 subscribers to Info-Apple are on Bitnet. Rather soon, now, WISCVM is promising to curtail gateway service to mailing lists destined for more than 10 subscribers on the destination side. Thanks for your help.
