[My apologies if this has been discussed to a tee before, or whatever.] I am using an Apple //e, presently equipped with a Novation Apple-Cat 1200 baud internal (infernal? ;-) modem. It is running ASCII Express for software, under DOS 3.3. The question is simple; is there any way for this soft/hardware to generate a true break signal over the modem? I don't recall seeing it in the manual, and can't find it there now. Please mail responses to me, and I'll try to summarize to the net if there's interest. Mail to either the address in my .signature, or preferably to ihnp4!itivax!m-net!marcvh. Thanks in advance. -- Marc VanHeyningen, CRLT, Ann Arbor, Michigan. || msudoc\ Being stupid is bad, but being obnoxious can be || ihnp4!itivax!crlt!marcvh good, for learning only comes from what goes || umich/ contrary to you.
