I'd like to present an opposing viewpoint with regard to the previous postings on APDA's speed of delivery. I ordered APW on January 7th (by phone) and was told that it would be shipped in about two weeks. A little less than three weeks later, the beta version of APW arrived at my door via UPS. Admittedly, this is only one case, but at this point I have no complaints with APDA. Incidentally, I sent off a personal check with a membership application form in early December and received my 65816 book a week before Christmas; certainly a reasonable delay. I'd like to be able to comment on the APW package, but the linker in the beta version requires at least 1 1/4 meg in the gs, and I don't have that much memory at the moment. The claim is that the final release version (due out who knows when) will require only a 768K gs. -------------------------------- Lester I.
