Multics is sending the text properly, at least: Your problem is probably the fact that AE Pro uses the older form of block error checking in which all the bytes are just XORed. The newer Xmodems use what is called a CCITT polynomial checksum. Time is catching up on AE Pro. Lee Larson U of Louisville
