I just bought (for $19.95) a copy of Osborne McGraw-Hill's "Apple IIgs Technical Reference" book, by Michael Fischer (who wrote "65816/65802 Assembly Language Programming"). It's 700 (!) pages of charts, tables, text, and even some assembly code. Looks to be an invaluble reference book. What stores are carrying them now?

I purchased my copy from the local B. Dalton store. I would imagine that other bookstores could order it if they don't have it in stock. --lester

This is a good book, it explains a lot. It has info that will be spread over 3 or 4 of the Apple manuals. One thing it didn't have though, was the maximum volume size in Prodos 16. Is it still 32 megabytes? I noticed that Apple says their 80 meg drives will work with the Apple // family. Will they be partitioned, or what? Rick Fincher ranger@ecsvax
