Second Try: Is there any way, perhaps through a specialized ProDOS device driver, to keep interrupts active (particularly from the Super Serial Card) while writing to the Sider hard disk? I'm wondering if the Sider has enough "smarts," unlike the regular Disk II-type devices. Such an arrangement would allow buffering of input from a remote system while writing to disk, thereby preventing loss of data with systems which do not obey any sort of pacing. Thanks. I'm writing a multi-user BBS, so I too would be very interested in hearing if this kind of thing can be written, though I suspect it can't. -- Jim Elliott / ...!seismo!rpics!rpiacm!jje [uucp] / "You can't do that!" / Jim_Elliott@itsmts.rpi.edu [internet] / (or) userE2U7@itsmts.rpi.edu
