For those of you who are interested, the key command sequence: OPTION-OPEN-APPLE-CNTL-N from the sliding apple screen will display the names of those responsible for development of the machine.

What do you mean by the "Sliding Apple screen"? Thanks, Rick

The "Sliding Apple" screen is what one gets when startup from a specified device fails. This can also be forced with a few resets. You'll know it when you see an Open Apple and a Closed (Solid?) Apple bouncing from side to side of the window and changing from one to the other at each side... Mark

I have a //GS and that Option-Open-Apple-Cntl-N sequence doesn't work. How does one do it?? Joe Craparotta

In order to get the OPTION-OPEN-APPLE-CNTL-N sequence to work, one must be at the "Sliding Apple" screen. This may be obtained upon startup if there are no disks in the available drives or the specified drive does not exist or with a RESET or two. Mark
