Well, this question concerns getting appleworks to have the full 125K desktop and make use of the clock and date stuff at the same time. The only way I can get it to use the clock is to boot from the desktop disk and this only gives me a desktop of 13K. I am trying to utilize the clock from the built in macros of Autoworks (or Pinpoint for that matter) and cannot do it without wasting that extra hundred or so K. I figure that it is a problem with my needing Prodos-16 in the machine, but I'm not really sure. I could really use some help... Thanx.... -- Kyle Grieser (Yuf) Disclaimer - I'm confused. I presume you are using a //gs. Put Prodos 8 on a disk with all of the Appleworks files. You don't need all of the Prodos 16 stuff to run Appleworks. Prodos 8 (version 1.2 or greater of Prodos) will recognize the //gs clock. If you have older versions of some clock routines they may not work with the //gs clock. Rick Fincher ranger@ecsvax
