Bravo Robert Redford, Glenn Close, et al. The movie "The Natural"
is superb. I saw it just last night. The movie is warm and friend-
ly. It projects happiness and a sense of hope. Robert Redford is
very good, as are all of the supporting cast members.
The storyline, if you don't already know it, is based upon a book
by the same name by Bernard Malamud. It's about a young boy who
grows up to love the sport of baseball. He paractices all of his
youth to be the best there can be. An accident takes him out of the
mainstream of the sport for sixteen years. He returns to be great
for a team that desperately needs greatness.
Although at times it seems as if the script has been provided for
your inspection beforehand, the movie, nonetheless, is very
appealing. I highly recommend you seeing "The Natural" starring
Robert Redford as Roy Hobbs. Of course I recommend you see ALL
movies. Tell me how you all like it...
