About the earlier letters on memory: Applied Engineering seems to make the best, and certainly better than Apple. I have a GS ram 1 meg card, and enjoy it immensely. It came with software to modify Appleworks 2.0 to use the memory. Speaking of Appleworks, I've been trying to use 1.3 on a GS with a Grappler and an Epson lx-80. It prints very odd-- say an 8-letter word wraps after 3 letters. It prints the line without any of the word, line-feeds, prints the first three letters, line feeds, prints the last 5 letters, then continues. Any ideas? Thanks in advance, Bill Dickson

I've similar problems with getting appleworks and my lx-80 to work together. I finally got it to work by changing one of the printer options. I think it is 'interface card'. You want to set it to Ctrl-I 80N I seem to remember that this didn't fix all the problems, so I told apple works I was using an epson fx printer instead of using the control characters that I gave it. ---Ben
