If you use Kermit-65 V 3.75 with the Super Serial Card driver, you MUST set micro switch 2-6 (6th switch on the 2nd block) ON (enables interrupts). If you don't set the switch, then Kermit will appear to be "dead" in terminal mode. It is possible to use the program with the SSC and the switch off - use the Microtek 622 driver. The problem with using the Microtek driver is that at 1200 baud (even worse at 2400 baud) occassional input characters will be lost as the screen scrolls. At 1200 baud, file transfer is fine. I don't know whether transfer will work cleanly at 2400 baud. 'Tis better to set SW2-6 on if you have a REAL SSC. To dial with a Hayes compatible. BRUN KERMIT, enter terminal mode, (push the CAPS LOCK down) and ATDP number (for pulse) or ATDT number (tone).
