I don't know what the situation is in the rest of the country, but here in the Washington, D.C. area this was the first week that ads began running in the paper (from several stores) advertising that they had the //GS in stock. Prior to this there was an occasional picture, but all the text referred to //e's or //c's. Perhaps Apple is finally getting production up?

Hmmm...it seems that D.C. is kinda slow, then. Here in San Diego, the GS's have been in stock for quite a while already...
