LYMAN@IASSNS.BITNET (05/12/87)
I have heard the term bandied about in computer magazine, and by IIe owners. What is it? I presume that it isn't available to us ][+ holdouts. Another question, if I finally solve my timing problems and get my 6502 up to a 65C02, (my ][+ started life as a ][), and buy, for example, a RAM-FACTOR board to expand to >= 128K, could I now run IIe software which bills itself as needing 128K. I know that A.E. gives an Appleworks patch. What about Apple Logo? etc.? in other words would it be hit or miss for the rest? Would I need some further upgrade? Sorry if the previous C pgm bores some of you, but when I spent that long getting the memory organization straight in my own mind, I figured I wanted to save the time of any kindred spirits out there. Not that it would necessarily be difficult for anyone else. Lyman Hurd lyman@iassns.bitnet else use your favorite gateway
