If you're on bitnet and you want Kermit 3.75, you don't need all that stuff you'll get asking for a2*.*. Assuming you have an older Kermit or something that'll capture ASCII files reliably (AE PRO, etc), all your need is: TELL KERMSRV AT CUVMA SENDME A2K375.* TELL KERMSRV AT CUVMA SENDME A2*.DOC If you're at one of those uptight places that won't let you send immediate commands, you can put the 2 SENDME commands in a file and send that to KERMSRV at CUVMA (without mail headers) and you should get the same result (maybe not quite as quickly). The first line will get you 5 files. Read the REM statements at the beginning of A2K375.1 and follow directions (download and rename the files KER375.1 through KER375.5 on a disk with nothing else on it and EXEC KER375.1,R25 (yes, you need the "R25"). Voila, like magic Kermit and an install program that lets you change the drivers, etc. appears. Send the two DOC files to your printer. You might want to download them to the back of the disk, but they are a bit large - it may be easier to just pull them off a kermit server if you need another copy.

I'm having a slight difficulty when using the Kermit version 3.75 in PRODOS background. I am unable to transfer text files. I am using the same version which does transfer files in the DOS background. Amy suggestions? John
