This talk of hard drives just reminded me of a question I've had for a long time. I've been wanting to buy a Jasmine Direct Drive 80 for my //e. Now, what is the storage limit for a //e equipped with an Apple SCSI card? Will I be able to partition the 80 meg drive into separate volumes so as to make use of all the storage capacity? Another thing: I plan to get either a //gs or a Mac in the future. Will be able to "share" this drive between computers? Is it possible to set aside partitions accessible only to the computer it is designated for (in the case of a //e-Mac config)? Or, is it possible to link a //e and //gs together to the same drive, allowing both to tap into the entire drive?
