[comp.sys.apple] Apple --> IBM Mainframe

  RE: Apple - IBM Mainframe Connections

        As a systems programmer for a consulting firm, I often need
to dial up IBM System 38 computers from home. For those of you
interested in protocol converters: We use a LocalData InterLynx.
It supports many terminal types, including VT52, VT100 and VT220.

program , you can use your apple like an IBM terminal. The
InterLynx redefines the keys for you (IE. no special software
required for the remote end)

        Hope that helps.
