You use a modem 10 hours a day, 30 days a month!! Sounds like you are lost in the old "dumb terminal" days. Have you not discovered the power of a micro to do most of the work in local (data entry at the very least)? If you're turning your dial line into a leased line, perhaps you should be paying extra.
