While I'm in favor of passing Apple public domain and shareware software through the mail chains, I'm not enthusiastic about polluting the current info-apple feed. After all, this is "info-apple" and not "programs-apple". For those who may not want to participate in distributing software, but still want to be part of the information forum, I suggest that we create a second and separate feed for transferring Apple software, documentation for that software, and any other related notes. A rash of HUGE uploads into the existing feed could hurt a lot of small systems that are low on disk space. Giving them an option to subscribe to a feed which would require more storage space, more time tied up in transfers, etc., would be a good idea in my oppinion.
