I have noticed that certain Tech Notes have been posted to this group lately, in plain ASCII format. Since I have access to a Macintosh, I would very much like to obtain copies of these notes in MacWrite format. Is there anywhere that these files can be obtained, just as the Macintosh Tech Notes can be obtained from SUMEX (and are usually also posted to USENET, in the newsgroup comp.binaries.mac)? Any pointers would be appreciated, ranging from small private bulletin board systems to a site on the ARPANET. (I'm not really interested in downloading them all from a service such as CompuServe, or in buying them from APDA. Please, no flames telling me that I should pay for this stuff, as Apple encourages their wide and free distribution.) Thanks much. --- Jerry Weldon ARPA: weldon@lll-lcc.ARPA UUCP: ...{lll-crg, etc.}!lll-lcc!weldon

Since MacWrite seems to be a widely used format for distribution of technical info from Apple, perhaps someone out there might think about an editor LIKE MacWrite for the GS? At least a program which properly output a file in MacWrite format to an IW-II or comperable printer... here's dreaming... -- Larry W.
