Having used TML Pascal for the IIgs for a few months now, I've become rather annoyed with the "plain vanilla" mode and its sloooooow text scrolling. So, I dug out my copy of the Toolbox reference, looked at TML's Texttools library, and set to work at the seemingly trivial task of printing a character to the text screen. Well, I'm stumped. I can't get anything to appear on the screen, and I'm now willing to beg for help. Has anyone tried to do the same thing and succeeded? If so, would you be so kind as to share the secret with me? It really doesn't seem like it should be that hard, but I'm getting nowhere. Help! (An aside: Why can't people write manuals with EXAMPLES in them? The Toolbox reference and the TML manual are essentially example-free.) Lester McCann University of Wisconsin CS Dept. g-mccann@gumby.cs.wisc.edu ...!uwvax!gumby!g-mccann
