Hi, (again) My friend just bought the ORCA/M assembler for the regular 8-bit line, but he claims he can't boot it on his ][+, because Byte Works or whatever made the master disk only able to run on a //c type system. I didn't really understand what he was saying, so I'm going to try and fix it tonight. The manual said something about "working without an 80-column card can be (and will) painful" so my friend asked me if I knew of any ][+ type 80 column cards. My knowledge (and experience) with ][+ cards is minimal, since, having a //c and having dealt with Vaxes and big Ahmdel computers all my life, I never paid attention to the slot market. Does anyone out there know of any good and inexpensive (or expensive, it's not my money) 80 column cards for the ][+? Thanks Roger. ihnp4!ihlpg!rre -- Roger R.
