APPLEWRITER 2.1 UPGRADE
These patches must be made on a copy of an UNMODIFIED version
of APPLEWRITER 2.1 If you only have 2.0 you dealer should be
able to upgrade it at no charge so they say.

These patches are for ans Apple IIGS and once made will
only run on this computer. They re-enable the printer
port for full communications to a laserwriter at 9600
baud, to any printer and for once make it usable with
a modem on the printer port.

I can't emphasize too strongly that this should only be done on a
copy. When you internd to use the program as a terminal program
be sure to set up the printer port to modem and the speed to you modem
speed. Then reboot.
