 RE: OLD GS'S VS NEW GS'S.


     With respect to video (specifically the desktop screen color).

     I have a first-run GS (with the signature etc..) and I can get
     both the solid grey background, and the stripe background.
     The problem is not in the video rom, but in how the RGB monitor
     is set - there are adjustmaent controls that you can use to
     fix the color (though I haven't bothered because I like the
     stripes better than the grey)
