Getting from Bitnet to UUCP has never been a problem. The standard gateway is at PSUVAX1. The problem is that PSUVAX1 insists that "pro-sol.cts.com" is an "unknown host" (not a UUCP registered site). Now, I have no idea why PSUVAX1 can't find pro-sol except that with all the nets and gateways keeping everyone's route tables up-to-date must be a nontrivial problem. If routing throuh UICUC (University of Illionois, Champlain-Urbana) works, I and other bitnet users would like to know. There are other ties to UUCP from bitnet (ucbvax.berkeley.edu is one, but it doesn't know pro-sol either).
