A future version of TIC (Talk is Cheap) will support the loading of external drivers to support the more rare communications cards and modems such as the MicroModem and Networker. As you may be aware, there are dozens of modems that TIC currently supports... far more than just those made by Hayes and Apple. Micromodem support has not been a priority in TIC development because experience has shown that Micromodem users tend to not support shareware software fees. While a future TIC will certainly support the Micromodem and Networker, I strongly advise anyone using a Micromodem to break down and spend the $100 (or less) that it takes to get a decent 300/1200 baud modem. You'll find software easier to find and you'll be able to move the modem from machine to machine. There are several internal modems available that are already compatible with TIC as well though I usually prefer externals personally.
