[comp.sys.apple] Chameleon & utilities disk

SEWALL@UCONNVM.BITNET (07/30/87)

To the best of my knowledge the Apple Utilities disk doesn't do
transfers to or from CP/M format. It also takes so long to load
that I almost never bother with it. I'm a registered Copy II Plus
owner which I REALLY think is worth every penny, and I use the
UTIL.SYSTEM for almost everything. On those rare occassions when
I need to transfer to/from Pascal or CP/M formats, I use SOFTERM.

I did say that most people wouldn't find owning the Chameleon necessary.
It's got a very narrow use, but if you happen to need to copy files
from CP/M from DOS and don't own SOFTERM, it's worth having.
