Request any assistance on a Micro-sci A82 Floppy Disk Drive purchased in 1982. I need a pro-dos driver (prefer V1.1.1 or later) that will access the drive with a standard apple floppy controller. Disk 1 is a standard 35 track drive and disk 2 is the 80 track drive. The capability to access the 80 track in the 35 track mode is not needed. Micro-sci furnished a pro-dos driver for prodos 1.0.1, but it doesn't work correctly when accessing a text file in the 80 track mode and just sets and chatters when used in bbs service. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. The drive is primarily used to back up a 10mbyte Sider and store textfiles. Does anyone make an inexpensive double sided double density drive for the apple IIe that uses 5.25 inch disks?
