NYSOKO@WEIZMANN.BITNET (Asaf Sokolowski) (08/02/87)
I discovered csnews@maine today and wondered through their files looking for something on Apple of course and I did. I would like to share it with you people... =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Appended 15:22:03 on 03/22/87 by Barry Gabler: If anyone is interested in joining the BITNET APPLE USERS GROUP, or BAUG for short, please contact either: DSF2652@RITVAX (Desi Fuller) coordinator or BGABLER@LOYVAX (Barry Gabler) recruiter So far our group consists of mail from each other. Every one addresses the mail to DSF2652@RITVAX and then it is distibuted to all of the members. We hope to start distribution of Public Domain Software, and also a newsletter. If you have a modem you can download the PD software to your Apple //e,//c,//+, or //gs computer. If you don't have a modem you will have to type it into your Apple. All those interested, please contact one of the two names listed above. Thankyou. Barry Gabler (BGABLER@LOYVAX) ***** Notice created 15:22 on Sun, 03/22/87 by BGABLER at LOYVAX # 001 ***** =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Now maybe this newsgroup was created and maybe these people eventually joined info-apple but if they didn't then there maybe another apple // newsgroup on the net in which case a merge between the two could be in order. Now this could be a false alarm but I think someone like Brint Cooper should perhaps look into it after all it couldn't hurt could it.
