The arpanet gateway to bitnet seems better at from here to there than vice-versa. If you have tried to subscribe to APPLE2-L; send a ONE LINE mail message with the line: SUBSCRIBE APPLE2-L your_1st_name your_last_name If you don't get anything back in a couple of days, 1) try another gateway 2) send a message to Chris Chung CC004019@BROWNVM.bitnet asking if your subscription request arrived and to add you manually if it did not (for those of you on UUCP or Pro-line or similar places where there may be some difficulty automatically constructing a working return path, if Chris can figure out one that works and enters it by hand, you should then receive regular posting). If the LISTSERV can successfully construct a working return path, you can get files with a ONE LINE message containing the command: GET APPLE2-L 87-xxxxx (where xxxxx is the number of the file you want. To find out what file goes with what number use: GET NOTEBOOK FILELIST to get the latest files on the server. Here's the list of what's available so far..
