APW's editor can edit files up to 64K in size. Why do you have to have your entire file in memory all the time in the first place though? Splitting your 80K source into 2 40K files would be a lot easier and a lot more convenient than using something like AppleWorks as your editor. I wouldn't be surprised if a future version of the APW or ORCA/M for the IIgs editor could handle the larger file sizes or perhaps even edit multiple files but for the time being just break up your source files a little and use the APPEND directive to link them.
